Foundation and Volunteer Director, Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator
The Foundation Director will support the PGH Foundation Board and act as the liaison between the hospital Foundation, Board of Trustees, and the community. The Director will manage the Annual Fundraising Campaign and additional fundraising drives, including the development of marketing materials and media coverage for special events. The Director will oversee the administration of special events, Foundation budgeting, and grant proposals.
The Volunteer Director will support the President of the Auxiliary by scheduling their fund raising events and creating marketing materials for special sales and events. The Director will help recruit new volunteers and guide them through the application process.
Public Relations and Marketing:
The Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator plans and directs the marketing and public relations program for Putnam General Hospital. This position promotes all activities, programs, employee events, and special events of the hospital. The Public Relations Coordinator will promote a positive relationship with the local community and all hospital staff.
1. Education-Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
2. Experience: Previous Foundation experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Good public speaking and interpersonal skills. The ability to work with minimal supervision and have high level of self motivation. Experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Special Events, Volunteer Coordination, and Fundraising required. Computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), graphic design software (Adobe programs, QuarkXPress, etc.), and record keeping (Donor Tracking Software)
