Welcome to Putnam General Hospital.

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Putnam General Hospital. As I begin this journey with our dedicated team, I want to share my commitment to the patients, families, and communities we are privileged to serve.

At Putnam General Hospital, our mission is simple: To make a positive difference in the lives of our customers and the community we serve. We believe that members of our community deserve access to exceptional care without having to leave the place they call home. Every day, we strive to enhance services, expand access to care, and ensure that our patients receive compassionate, safe, and effective treatment right here in Putnam County.

My healthcare journey began in 1995 as an EMT and Paramedic, where I learned firsthand the importance of timely, patient-centered care. From there, I pursued a career in nursing, serving as a Trauma Nurse at a Level I Trauma Center, caring for patients and families during some of the most critical moments of their lives.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of clinical and leadership roles. I worked as the Educator and Clinical Lead for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, later serving as Nurse Manager of the CVICU. I then became the Director of Oncology, leading the Cancer Life Center at what is now Atrium Health Navicent, before advancing to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Atrium Health Navicent.

While these experiences have shaped my leadership philosophy, they have never changed the foundation of who I am, a healthcare professional committed to serving patients first. My background at the bedside continues to influence every decision I make, reminding me that healthcare is ultimately about people, compassion, and trust.

I am truly excited to join the Putnam General Hospital family and become a part of this remarkable community. Together with our physicians, nurses, caregivers, staff, volunteers, and community partners, we will continue building upon the hospital's strong legacy while pursuing new opportunities to improve the health and well-being of those we serve.
