Medical Inpatient Services
Putnam General Hospital, Navicent Health Partner is a critical access 25-bed facility. Rooms are private, spacious, and equipped with windows, private bathrooms, flat screen televisions, temperature controls, and technology access. We cherish our nursing staff and are privileged to have the most qualified nurses in the area. Visiting hours for patients are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can reach the Nurses Station by calling 706-923-2078.
Medical/Surgical Unit
Our Medical/Surgical Unit admits patients with diagnoses across medical specialties. The individualized attention rendered is for a patient needing treatment for severe episodes of illness, surgery, or testing and observation. Physicians, Pharmacists, and Respiratory therapists work with our licensed staff to integrate their expert knowledge to ensure that you have an optimal environment and care for healing. In ICU, patients with acute pulmonary, medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions receive treatment and excellent care by registered nurses certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. In addition, professionals from varied disciplines add support whenever needed in nutrition, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and care coordination. Ventilator support for patients unable to breathe on their own
Insertion and maintenance of central IV lines and chest tubes
