2010 PGH Foundation Golf Tournament

September 16, 2010

The Putnam General Hospital Foundation would like to thank the 73 sponsors, 92 players, and many volunteers for its 16th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament. This year's tournament was presented by Farmers & Merchants Bank and was held at Long Shadow Golf Club on September 13th. This year's tournament raised over $43,000 to benefit Putnam General Hospital.

"We are so thankful for all the community support received for this year's tournament," said Darrell Oglesby, hospital administrator. "This hospital is so successful and continues to be a state-of-the-art hospital with the most advanced equipment, because of our community. We would not be here without every individual and businesses' continued support."

This year's tournament funds will purchase cataract surgical beds and orthopedic surgical equipment.

"Every year the golf committee and foundation do an excellent job in raising money for the equipment the hospital wants and needs," said Pam Douglas, chief nursing officer. "We are blessed to have such a committed and successful group of local men and women supporting the hospital."
