PGH awarded 1 of Top 100 Most Generous Workplaces in Their Efforts to Better Our Community

Eatonton, GA (August 24, 2018) - Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education, enough income to support a family, and good health. For this reason, Putnam General Hospital partners with United Way in their efforts to address these needs within our own community. In 2017,
Putnam General Hospital ran their first United Way Campaign, "Be The One." All proceeds from special events, raffles, employee giving, and donations were given to the United Way of Central Georgia to address one of these focus areas. In doing so, Putnam General Hospital was awarded one of the "Top 100 Most Generous Workplaces". Pictured below is Jennifer Reid, United Way Campaign Coordinator for Putnam General Hospital. Reid states, "a large portion of these proceeds were donated through PGH Employee Giving. I am proud to work at a hospital with staff that care so much about this community and the people we serve."
